Community Rehabilitation Center (CRC) is seeking a professional, dependable, and organized Receptionist to join our team.
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers and provides essential front-office support. This position will also assist with client intakes and serve as backup to the Medical Records Scheduler.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
- Assist with new client intakes, including collecting required information and documentation.
- Schedule and confirm client appointments.
- Maintain accurate appointment and scheduling information.
- Contact clients regarding appointments, changes, and required information.
- Serve as backup to the Medical Records Scheduler when needed.
- Assist with medical records requests, filing, scanning, uploading, and retrieval of documentation.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate client information.
- Receive and route documents, mail, and correspondence.
- Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
- Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and CRC privacy requirements.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support.
- Assist staff and departments with front-office needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
- Healthcare or behavioral health office experience preferred.
- Experience with client/patient intake and scheduling is a plus.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Dependable, punctual, professional, and compassionate.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
